Heat iron for hair extensions.
A heat iron, also called a connector or fusion iron, is a device that you use to "weld" strands of keratin bonded hair to your natural hair. The heat liquefies the keratin and can be rolled and shaped with your fingers. A good heat iron should have a temperature regulator. When working with keratin bonds, it is important to ensure that the keratin melts well. Keratin that is too hard is difficult to work with - the result is strands that constantly fall out. To avoid this trouble, you have to work the keratin whilst it is hot and very soft. In addition to heat irons that work with heat, there are ultrasound devices - these only work with ultrasound waves, here the bonds does not have to get hot. Since keratin bonds often come in different shapes, the tips of the heat irons are also different: flat, curved, with notches at the front or back. Global Extend offers various heat irons, you can see what they look like here: please click here .
