Why choose micro rings with silicone?

The integrated silicone sleeve reduces pressure on the client’s hair, helping to minimise breakage. It is essential to pull the correct amount of hair through the ring to ensure a secure hold.

Micro rings can be closed using special pliers and removed with the same tool, leaving no residue behind. No solvent is required. The rings provide a secure, comfortable, and discreet bond.

Attaching the micro rings

The installation process for hair extensions varies depending on the method used. In general, we recommend that hair extensions are installed only by trained professionals.
Our range includes classic hair wefts that can be sewn in with micro rings. (Theoretically, you can also use micro rings for Genius Wefts, although we would recommend nano rings with silicone for those)

When using the weft technique, the micro rings are attached as follows:

  • Preparation: Select the appropriate rings and place them on the loop needle (or micro ring needle).

  • Sectioning: Section the hair. A tail comb and sectioning clips are helpful here. There shouldn't be too little hair inside the rings.

  • Attaching the rings: Guide the separated hair strand through the opening of the loop needle. Push the micro ring upwards and pull the strand of hair downwards with the needle so that the ring is about 5 millimetres away from the scalp.

  • Closing the ring: The ring can now be pressed together using micro ring pliers. It should be pressed together well so that it cannot slip.
    Once enough rings have been attached, you can start the sewing process.

Note: The rings are designed for single use only. New rings must be used for re-installing.
