With tape pliers you can ensure that the extensions stay in place. It is also possible to press them together with your fingers, but there is always the risk that air bubbles will remain between the tapes, which can cause the strands to slip or, in the worst case, even fall out.
These specially developed pliers allow you to press the tapes together safely and efficiently, so that the bonds last longer and are more reliable. Ideal for professional use.

How to use the tape pliers correctly

Section the hair neatly and apply the tape extension – either using the sandwich method or as a single strand using single-sided tapes. After the tape strand or sandwich has been attached to the hair, place the pliers on it and press firmly for a few seconds. This ensures that the extensions stay in place.

With this method, you achieve a strong and long-lasting bond that can easily withstand daily stresses such as hair styling or washing.

Please note that even if you use the pliers, the tapes may slip if they are installed incorrectly. For example, if too much of your client's hair is taken between two pieces of tape, the adhesive will not adhere together well. It is also essential that your client's hair is washed with an exfoliating/cleansing shampoo before application. Residues of styling products can also be a cause of problems. Please ensure that the hair is not washed for 48 hours after installation and that only suitable care products are used.
